3 Things Tuesday.

   I finally was able to go to the doctors today to get anitbiotics, I am not a happy camper when I am sick! I have so many projects I need to get done and now that I am feeling better I can finally tackle them. I went on pinterest and printed out a cleaning schedule courtesy of cleanmama.net  she has a bunch of free printables, I love her blog so much! It is my dream to be even half as organized as she is. 
   
 I don't really have much to say today so I am just going to share a few Pin's on Pinterest, that have caught my eye. I really am Pinterest Obsessed. I've had many sleepless nights due to spending way too much time on Pinterest! haha Anyways, I very much want to try this Ben Nye Banana Powder, I've heard nothing but good reviews about it, and look how flawless of a finish it leaves! 
   I am thinking about applying for a few makeup jobs, I'd love the opportunity to learn more and enhance my skills. And we could also use the extra income right now since we are finally starting our search in House Hunting again! Ahh! IT is sooo nerve wracking, and I wish houses weren't so expensive where we live but such is life! I know that we will find the perfect home for our family and that everything will work out. 




How adorable is this arm party?! I am looooving Tortoise Shell jewelry right now. This Tortoise Shell Michael Kors watch is so chic, and timeless. I love looking at all of the fashion posts on Pinterest. I looove this Lilly pumpkin printed skirt! <3 font="">

I am going to now try and find the energy to work out. I don't feel well, but I think I can work out today. I've gotten better at listening to my body I think I am even more paranoid now to when my body needs rest or when it doesn't. I've fell off the wagon lately, I feel like, with eating and working out. So I really need to get my right mind set back, and stop letting my stresses affect my food choices....which happens! 

To Do's & Goals For the Week:
-Film and post at least 3 Youtube Videos.
-Stick to my daily meal plan and calorie goals.
-Wake up early for cardio.
-Get back into my lifting program.
-Drink more water.
-Focus on the positives, don't let the little things stress me out.
-Get Grayson Mickey Mouse Flashcards, and practice with him.
-Be better at Potty Training with Grayson.

What I Ate Wednesday

Hey Everyone,
HAPPY WEDNESDAY.

My Wednesday was quite uneventful. It consisted of lots of laundry folding and building towers with my son. :) We also got him his first potty, although he is still a little young I want to sit him down to "go" every time I go or after he's had a drink. I feel it is good for him to get familiar with the act of "going potty" now. Plus, he feels so BIG! I love his smile when I say he's a "big boy". He has such good confidence and feels so proud, that really is the best feeling for me to see him react like that. I always want him to be happy and proud of himself. That is the best feeling as a mother to see your child happy.







Anyways, I did not snap a picture of my breakfast because it was just an Advocare Meal Replacement Shake. Simple, but yummy!

For Lunch I had one of my "prepared meals" I did a big meal prep monday on monday and not gonna lie, I am super proud. It took FOREVER lol but it seriously is so worth doing! I've loved having meals ready for myself and being able to just throw quick dinners together for the boys or eating something I prepared for all of us. I for sure feel like this is something I'm going to strive to continue because I feel it keeps me so much more on point with my diet. I am alot less likely to grab something unhealthy if I have things ready, I feel I can't really justify it! So that's really been great. Btw! I had spaghetti squash and chicken today as my meal.

Dinner was quick and easy. I made the boys a healthy bowl of chinese orange chicken [insert sarcasm here]. And for Mommy... Egg white omelet with one drippy egg, turkey bacon, broccoli and a flat out wrap. It was lovely. Honestly, eggs for dinner really is my fav dinner sometimes haha, I'm a weirdo I guess. 

I feel like this week has flown by. Hopefully, tomorrow I will have something more eventful to talk about! My workout [or lack of] is little to be talked about, I ran about 2 miles and started feeling dizzy/sick so I stopped. My body has just felt weak today (it's that time of month) and I think it is good to listen to when you need a break, and I think I needed one today. Even though, mentally I wanted to get my sweat on, just means all the better it'll be tomorrow!

Things I Know Tuesday.

I was inspired by 'Healthy Diva Eats' blog to do a "Things I Know Tuesday" Post, I think they are fun. And I love her blog. I'd be happy to be half as good of a blogger as her!

I know that fasted cardio makes for one hungry self.

I know that I've been KILLING IT in the gym lately.

I know that I am in Love with the new spring-time edition Wet 'n Wild pallette, it has some gorgeous, fun colors! 

I know that I've been loving my nails long, ever since I started taking biotin they have been growing out really nicely, and not breaking!

I know that I keep having job interviews, I hope that where ever I end up working I will enjoy, and it will be the right fit for me. 

I know that Teavana has come out with some delish flavors recently. I picked up kiwi berry blast and chocolate bannana foster teas. 

I know that I REALLY want to do the Advocare 24 day challenge, I think that is what I will be asking for my birthday, that and CROSSFIT!

I know that I've been loving wedges lately, I want 358294 pairs. 

I know that I am getting my hair cut tomorrow! I am going to get some long layers and bangs. Wish me luck, I always get nervous before getting my hair cut, but I really could use a change. 

I know that I have been drinking water like a champ!

I know I am going to miss my husband when he leaves for the Philippines. <3

I know that I have the most beautiful, wonderful little boy who just turned a whole ONE YEARS OLD!

Pumpkin Power

♡♡♡Hey Loves!♡♡♡

   So breakfast is pretty much my most awaited and beloved meal of the day. Sometimes I think I go to sleep just so I can wake up and have breakfast. I'm not really kidding! Being that I used to be over 200 lbs I still really love food, I just eat DIFFERENT food now, healthy food! Lol. 
   Anyways, I get in like, food kicks, and I'll have the same thing for days on end. I'm a creature of habbit when it comes to my food, and that's about the only thing I like doing the same haha. My latest kick has been Protein Pancakes. If you haven't tried them out I really suggest you do because they are simply life-changing. Honestly. My go to recipe is this:

1/2 cup egg whites
1 scoop protein powder of choice (i'm using protizyme protein cookie)
1/4 cup oats
splash of vanilla
a lot of cinnamon (i'm obsessed!)
1/4 cup applesauce or 1/4 to 1/2 cup Pumpkin puree 




   This morning I tried it with the pumpkin and it made them so thick and fluffy and delicious lol. I find with the applesauce it makes them more crepe like. So whatever your feelin'! 

   I've been lifting more seriously, and I want to get ripped and look like this:

   I'm trying to just be at peace with my body tho and be happy with where I'm at. I think when you are losing weight you are so focused on losing. Then once you lose it you get other goals, or you want to keep losing, which i've found to be the case with me. I know I don't need to lose anymore weight but there is still a part of me that wants to. I find myself constantly changing my goal weight, once I get to another goal. So I need to just be content! Because two, three years ago I'd be walking around naked if I knew I'd be at where I am now. Wonderful image I know. ;)

   My baby, Grayson, his birthday will be next month. He's going to be ONE!!!!!
I can't believe it, seriously time flies. He's such a sweet boy and I love being able to be at home with him and watch him grow and play with him. I am planning on getting a smash cake for his birthday and letting him go crazy. There is soooo many cute smash cake pictures on pinterest and it makes me excited. I want to do an Elmo themed cake and party. I already bought his birthday outfit! 

   I've been kind of neglecting my channel lately and I NEED to get some videos up. I want to possibly do a March favorites video even tho I don't have a ton of favorites this month. And I'd really love to do a Vitamin/Supplement video and another weight-loss video. 
  I'm starting to seriously be serious about getting a part time job. As much as I love being at home with Grayson I'd like to get a job and make friends. It'd also be nice to have some adult conversation instead of reading dr.Suess books all day and watching Sesame Street haha. 
I am still running a lot. I have a 10k this Saturday!!! :-)

Health Food Haul

♡♡♡Hey everyone♡♡♡

So I debated doing a video on my health foodie finds but I decided that a blog post would be better because I can go more into depth about the products I purchased.




The first thing I wanted to talk about is Sunwarrior Warrior Blend protein powder. I have the classic version but what sets the Warrior Blend apart is that it is a synergistic blend and slower digesting. I definately felt fuller with this protein powder! I bought the vanilla flavor but now I am thinking of exchanging it for the chocolate since I still have some vanilla left of the classic version. I do like baking with protein powder tho and vanilla is always the best for that in my opinion. 

I also picked up some more PB2. Now if you don't know what PB2 is it will change your life! Lol It's powdered peanut butter that you can mix with water. It has 85% less fat calories than traditional peanut butter and a serving size of 2 tbsp is only 45 calories! I am pb obsessed so this is truly a lifesaver for me. It also comes in chocolate flavor which to me is reminiscent of Nutella. PB2 has many uses in my kitchen I'll put it in smoothies, yogurt, baking and my most recent experiment was a peanut sauce for shrimp! Basically I LOVE PB2 and strongly encourage you to try it out!

My next things are a current obsession as well and that is Lenny and Larry's protein cookies. They are nothing short of glorious. Honestly, I have a mission to bake a protein cookie that is half as good as theirs. The only downside of them is they are quite high cal (but they're HUGE) and I would indulge in these every day I don't consider them to be 'healthy' more like a 'healthy' alternative for the real thing. 

And the last couple things were just for fun but I picked up Tazo's Passion Tea, LOVES IT! And this is not food related but I am addicted to it Burt's Bee's Radiance Lotion, I gotta sparkle and shine.

First Post

So I decided to start this blog since I am obsessed with healthy living blogs! I figured I'd start my own too.
Anyways, my focus lately has been on P90X and running. I really want to gain muscle!
As for my diet I've been really focusing on eating clean. I've been eating mostly egg whites, veg, fruit, tuna, fish, chicken , Greek yogurt, cottage cheese and protein shakes.
My baby Grayson has been going through quite the phase. He's been a little fussy and doesn't like the switch to his big boy bed. But he's still a very good boy and I know this is just a phase.
My husband got me a gift card to a spa for mothers day and I just barely used it. It was wonderful... I got my first real massage, a facial, and a mani/pedi. It really was one of the best gifts :)
I'm trying to find another race to do this month if there is any close to me I don't really want to go far.
I'm stressed about the holidays for various reasons:
1) the temptations of holiday food/goodies, I'll indulge a little bit but I hate when ppl are like oh it's so good when it's really not something I want to eat so basically like peer pressure eating my mantra for this is I AM AN INDIVIDUAL I EAT WHAT I WANT!
2) I have SO much Christmas shopping to do and I have no clue what to get for quite a few ppl I hate it when ppl are impossible to shop for I'm always happy with makeup, clothes, and workout gear. Lol.
3) idk what to get my little boy it's his first Christmas and I know he won't remember but I still would like to get him something he will love/use for a good amount of time.
